I'd ambition to a well-known place if we had a place like that here. Home-cooked just wouldn't drop as good. The cruise over is half the fun.

The neighbourhood fish fries have them for so cheap on Good Friday in the US that cooking your own is not worth the effort. That's how it is here anyway.

My mum is a veggie and hates having marrow in the kitchen so we have to go to the local shop for fish and chips, yummy.

Salmon steaks are best. New potatoes (with mint) and garden peas.
Otherwise, I`ll eat meat with red gravy dripping (joke)

Redbox special menu question?
Apr 09, 2009 by Dave | Posted in Movies
Alright so once in a while I hit up the facing redbox at night when I have nothing better to do and I'm in the mood to watch a movie.. and of course the one I always use doesnt effort half the time, or the screen freezes up or isnt on at all. (but its right down the street and I can walk there)
Anyway, I was in Stop & Shop the other day (extraordinary redbox) and noticed that it was frozen also but some guy complained and a manager came up and did some crazy finger combination on the interview and it got into this special menu and unfroze, anyone know how to do that so I dont have to travel everywhere to find a redbox and just have the ability to fix the one I want to use? (seein as I most often order online and if the machine isnt working I just wasted $1) after all @ 1 in the morning there is no one there, and I'm unfaltering if I call the redbox there not going to tell me how.

Travelling to Japan from the UK... Lots of questions! :)?
Apr 09, 2009 by Siren | Posted in Japan
Okay, so my source has actually said there is a possibility that we can go to Japan and told me to research things.
If we go, we'll be going to Tokyo.
Does anyone certain of any hotels close by to Narita airport that aren't too expensive? They need to be suitable to catch 4 people (me - I'm fifteen, my mother, my brother - he's seventeen and my mother's boyfriend) We don't pine for anything posh, just clean and not too expensive.
I don't know how long we'd spend there, so I can't ask that interview.
Also...
Would it be easy to get around? I can ask questions in Japanese seeing as though I am studying it on my own so providing they understand what I say should we be able to get around easily? I'd like us to do a roam of things.
I would love to (besides exploring the culture) go shopping - so, would it be best to hop onto the Ginza line (or would it be best to take a taxi-cub?) and go to a district. Which one? I'd like to go to Shibuya and go to Tower Records or HMV and pick up music, magazines, etc. I also miss to go check out all the people around Harajuku - they're so cute.
How would they treat us? I know we're not them. >_< Like, how would singular ages treat us? We're just Caucasians. Like if I went to Harajuku would they think of me as uncanny? :[ I'm not a total Otaku, haha. xD
If you've ever been to Tokyo, what would you recommend doing / where would you praise us going / what would you recommend us seeing? :)
